With plenty of negotiating still to take place there are signs that Agricultural Ministers and MEP’s may be inching towards a CAP deal, in principle at least, to meet the end of June (end of Irish Presidency) deadline. Whilst there are still a number of issues to deal with there is no Member State currently opposing the overall package, although the UK is one of the Member States who have abstained on the market management aspects.
